L'ADA-8XR est un convertisseur A/N et N/A multicanal qui peut être configuré de multiples façons grâce à une série de modules spécifiques afin de convenir à une vaste gamme d'applications.

Il peut être un convertisseur A/N 16 canaux, un convertisseur N/A 16 canaux ou encore un convertisseur A/N-N/A 8 canaux. Il peut s'interfacer à un ordinateur en Firewire ou à travers une connexion Protools HD. Il peut utiliser les formats numériques AES/EBU, SPDIF ou DSD. Il peut donc fonctionner avec tout type de station de travail numérique intégrant des logiciels aussi divers que Logic, Cubase, Nuendo, etc... En fait il n'y a pas grand chose qui ne puisse pas être fait avec l'ADA-8XR quand il s'agit de conversion audionumérique !

L'ADA-8XR est le convertisseur de choix lorsqu'une qualité "mastering" est requise aussi bien pour du mastering en tant que tel mais pour l'enregistrement et la post-production.
